For rent: a private room of 11 m² in a very large family house, directly on the main canal in the center of town. The bathroom is just steps away from your bedroom. There is a large shared terrace and a 60+ meter recreation room with sauna and spa. Preferably female tenants, as I have a teenage daughter in the house. Easy bus and tram connections to Leiden, Delft, or The Hague. We have had a few university students from Germany, the UK, and Finland as tenants in the past. Available from October 15th for 6 months, or longer if agreed upon. This is a family home with a single father and a teenage daughter, along with other children living nearby. We speak English and Dutch in the house. The room is furnished, with Wi-Fi, and all utilities are included. While it's nice to have friends over, it’s not a party house. We have a 3-year-old Golden Retriever who is very friendly, so if you have allergies to pets, this is not the place for you. We have had au pairs and 4 university students in the past, and references from them are available. You will have a private room with a bathroom just steps away. The house is 165 m² and provides a clean, stable environment for working students or interns. An extension beyond 6 months may be possible if both parties agree.
