Witbreuksweg, Enschede

From February 22 until August 2023, a room will be available in our beautiful Waterhuis on the Bierkant, located on the university campus. We are looking for a temporary resident to fill our house again! We are a fun mixed-gender house that enjoys doing things together. We play competitive Mario Kart on our Nintendo Switch, participate in pub quizzes, sing (off-key) along with music while doing the dishes (and evenings that suddenly turn into karaoke nights), watch bad movies/series, make campfires, and have fun drinking evenings as well. We also have an impulsive theme night every now and then, which often ends in a party with a corresponding evening walk through the beautiful forest behind our house. All these fun activities happen spontaneously and on their own initiative, so we are mainly looking for someone who also takes the initiative and suggests doing something together! During the week, we eat together for four days (Monday to Thursday) according to a monthly cooking schedule, but there are usually also people to cook/eat with on the weekend. Additionally, we have a cleaning schedule with various tasks to keep the house in an acceptable state. As a resident of our house, we therefore expect you to participate in this schedule. Once in a while, we also do a joint big cleaning to make the house shine again, of course with our own playlist in the background. The available room is 17 m² with a (spacious) personal bathroom that contains a toilet, shower, sink, and a large closet. You also have a window with a door on the ground floor, so you can easily sit outside your room in warm weather. You will be living with 7 other (super fun) people. Since the room is being sublet, furniture and other items will remain in the room, in agreement with the temporarily departing roommate. If you are interested, send us a message! Based on this message, you may be invited for an interview.
