Groenewei Meerstad, located between the neighborhoods of Meeroevers and Tersluis, is the closest neighborhood of Meerstad to the city of Groningen and accommodates 350 homes and plots. This popular area is favored by residents of Groningen due to its prime location and the green developments taking place in and around the neighborhood. Groenewei is rich in amenities and is directly adjacent to Park Meerstad. A local supermarket and a second primary school with childcare are set to open on the east side. Bus line 5 stops every half hour at the entrance of the neighborhood.
