Groenewei Meerstad is a popular neighborhood located between Meeroevers, Tersluis, and the green artwork Park Meerstad, making it the closest to the city of Groningen. This area accommodates 350 homes and plots and is favored by relocating Groningers due to its prime location and the green developments taking place around it. Groenewei is rich in amenities, including a neighborhood supermarket and a primary school with childcare on the east side. Bus line 5 stops every half hour at the entrance of the neighborhood. The interior of Groenewei features many green fields and village-like streets connected by a slow traffic route.
